Announcements and Site Updates

by M. J. Joachim

Effectively Human is a website dedicated to people, with a strong emphasis on human dignity and the necessary importance of preserving life from its earliest conception until natural death.  It is a place to gather and reflect on our humanity, a place where we are encouraged to step back, take the time to consider what we find here and respond thoughtfully to the works so carefully written and displayed.

Our world is inundated with the opportunity to react with and without consideration. Numerous websites, forums and social networking sites abound for such purposes. While many discussions prove fruitful and permeate the good revealed in human nature, others prove to be discouraging, even damaging and reckless, to the fault of all participants.

People will always have and share opinions with each other. We will make judgment calls, take sides and dispute the pros and cons of everything. It’s only natural. However, there are times when so much commentary distracts us from the true meaning being expressed in the original intent of the message.  It is with this valid consideration in mind, that Effectively Human does not permit comments on individual articles and pages. Comments are always welcome and appreciated from anyone who visits EH, as are articles and photos from everyone who wishes to participate in this ongoing project. A primary email address: is readily available to all visitors; sharing and discussing content from Effectively Human is also readily available and encouraged.

I recently took Effectively Human off-line with the intention of upgrading the site a bit. However, I've received a few emails asking me to share the site. In the interest of keeping the site available to those who would like to continue visiting it, please understand, that I will making subtle changes to it in the coming weeks. Thank you for your interest in Effectively Human. I'm sorry for the inconvenience of removing it from view, and will proceed by making necessary changes while the site remains on-line. I appreciate your patience in this matter.

Reflecting on Florida’s Republican Primary Debate

All is fair in love and war, but not politics. As I watched the Florida Debate of the Republican Primary Candidates last night, it was all I could do to pay attention, while trying to take away some insight as to who these politicians are that want to be MY president, representing the country I love, whose values and principles I hold so dear.

Had it not been for the refreshing commentary of two specific candidates, mentioned in my most recent article posted today, I might have given up and turned off the T.V. in disgust. Instead, I hunkered down for the long haul, drawing some rather obvious opinions about many of the undeniable qualities the United States of America needs in our next president.

I’d love to hear your take on things as well. Please email me at: to share your opinions and viewpoints. All commentary shared has the potential to be posted on Effectively Human, unless specifically requested otherwise. Thank you.
